The Founding Fifty

Fifty people, from the very first day.

Osmia will never take advertising money and never sell what it knows. That leaves one honest way for it to exist: the people it serves. This page is for the first fifty of them.

The ask, plainly

Osmia is built and working. I’ve spent months building it with no salary, funding it myself. The first fifty people who want it to exist can have a year for €99 — and a direct line to me while it grows. Paid for by the people it serves, from the very first day. That was always the point.

— Balder, who builds Osmia. The longer version is the letter: why someone who studied how companies use our weakest points against us spent six years turning that knowledge the other way.

What €99 is

One payment, one year of everything Osmia does — the daily practice and Ask Osmia. It is not a subscription: it doesn’t renew, doesn’t quietly convert into anything, and when the year ends you decide what happens next. For comparison, a year at the monthly price comes to €180.

And the direct line is real: founding members write to hello@osmia.day — the address I read every morning — and what they say shapes what gets built. Fifty people is few enough that I can actually hold that promise — which is why it’s fifty.

Where the count stands

Of the first fifty, remain.

A real count from real purchases — when it says none remain, none do. No timers, no manufactured urgency; the number moves only when a person decides.

How it works

Payment is handled by Paddle, the merchant of record — they take the card, the VAT, the receipt; Osmia never sees your payment details. Use the email address you want your year tied to. Within a day you’ll receive your TestFlight invitation at that address — Osmia is in its testing season, and the founding fifty join it there, ahead of the public opening. Create your account with the same email and your year is attached from the day you paid.

The checkout is being connected — days, not weeks. The count above is already real.

The small print, readable

€99 including VAT, one time. The year runs from purchase. The terms and privacy policy apply — including the part where what you write in Osmia is yours, is never sold, and never meets an advertiser. If the fifty are gone, the waitlist is the door: Osmia opens to everyone soon after.

Osmia is paid for by the people it serves — from the very first day, and every day after.
