Refund Policy
If Osmia is not for you
How refunds work for Osmia AI, whichever way you bought it - in plain language. Last updated September 18, 2026
The 30-day promise
One promise beyond what the law requires: if Osmia is not for you, write to hello@osmia.day within 30 days of paying. The email is all it takes - no form, no reason needed.
What happens next depends on where you bought Osmia AI, because two different companies handle the two ways of buying it - and only one of them lets us decide.
Where you bought it
Bought on osmia.day
Subscriptions bought on this site are sold through Paddle, our Merchant of Record: Paddle operates the transaction, handles applicable VAT, sends your receipt, and manages the subscription. Here the promise is definitive: write to hello@osmia.day within 30 days of paying and you will be refunded - we request the refund through Paddle, and it goes back to the payment method you used. Paddle's own help for buyers, including its refund form, is at paddle.net. How long a refund takes to show depends on your bank.
Bought on the App Store
Apple controls the refund process and the decision. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com, or through the App Store app, within Apple's time limits. If you write to hello@osmia.day within 30 days of paying because Osmia is not for you, we will help you through that request where we can - the decision itself is Apple's, and we cannot promise it.
Your rights under the law
As an EU consumer you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services. When you start using Osmia's paid features right away, you ask for the service to begin during that period; if you withdraw within the 14 days, any refund reflects the portion of service already provided. Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in - the 30-day promise is offered on top of those rights.
Cancelling is not a refund
You can cancel any time, and you can leave any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your access runs to the end of the period you have paid for. It does not by itself refund the payment already made - for that, the 30-day promise above applies. A subscription bought on osmia.day is cancelled on Paddle's subscription page, reached from the link in Paddle's receipt email - or write to hello@osmia.day and we cancel it with you; one bought on the App Store is cancelled in your Apple ID settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions).
If Osmia ever has to close a paid account without cause, or shut the service down, the unused part of what you have prepaid is refunded.
Osmia Trips are a separate arrangement with their own terms, and are not covered by this policy.
